At M&M, you experience the thrill of an actual hunt. You do not pay to have birds released before you arrive – the standard practice at most preserves. Instead, M&M releases thousands of young pheasants and partridge early in the season, allowing them to adapt to our fields and woodlands. This natural process makes our birds as wily and wary as their wild cousins! Additional birds are released periodically through the season to sustain good, challenging hunting opportunities. You simply pay a half-day fee for each hunter in your party. Hunters are allowed to shoot an individual bag limit, and while we can’t guarantee that you’ll shoot your limit, we promise that you will have plenty of flushes and fair shots. If the dogs are working well and your shooting eye is sharp, you may harvest additional birds over and above your limit for an additional fee. For safety reasons, we limit upland hunting parties to no more than four plus your guide. The seasonal bag limit must be harvested by March 1, unless special arrangements are made. $1,695 for a 50-pheasant seasonal bag limit, or a 30-pheasant/30-partridge seasonal bag limit

1,000+ Mallard Release

Imagine the spectacle and thrill of 1,000 mallards flying over six blinds. The action is nearly non-stop, with lots of pass shooting and decoying ducks. Coffee and donuts are served at 8 a.m., assignments are given, and you will proceed to your blind on the edge of a natural marsh for a duck shoot you will not soon forget. Each blind of up to three hunters is guaranteed a 50-duck bag limit. At noon, a sit-down lunch is prepared by a private chef and served in our lodge. You soon will be on your way with plenty of ducks for the table and memories to savor. This hunt is offered to the public on select dates and to private groups on their date of choice. Wingshooters Hunt

The Wingshooters Hunt is designed for groups of two or three hunters who want the most “bang for their buck.” This hunt is offered only on select dates throughout the year and sells out very quickly. Our lodge will also book very quickly during these dates, so be sure to reserve your room well in advance. Please visit our hunting and shooting calendar for dates. Includes: Half-day guided upland hunt with bag limit of 30 pheasant & partridge per group and guided released mallard shoot with Guaranteed harvest of 30 ducks per group.
